I am a 46 year old web entrepreneur. At the age of 16, I started my first web hosting business, and after 2 years I was making more money than both of my parents - combined.

Through tons of trial and error, heart ache, and good old fashioned elbow grease, I was able to build my empire and live a life of complete leisure.

But it didn't just happen...

Like everyone else, I had been conditioned to believe that I needed to work for someone to make something of myself.

So sophmore year of high school I applied to any job that I could get. Unfortunately the pickings were slim - afterall, who would hire a [then]15 year old?

After months of searching I finally found a data entry job that offered me $5.50 per hour and boy was I siked! But I'm sure you know...

I tried to stay enthusiastic about my very first job but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't force myself to like it anymore.

Endless hours of inputing meaningless data into a database was taking it's toll on me. I dreaded heading to work every single day.

At the end of an 8 hour work day, my back would be killing me from sitting in a chair all day and my eyes would burn from massive eye strain from staring into a monitor for so long.

Then something shocking happened...

I Got Fired From My First Ever Job!

After just 3 months of working as a data entry person, my career ended almost as soon as it began.

Even though I did all of my required work, it turned out that one of the older workers at the place had a friend who wanted my job so she made up a story and told my boss that I was slacking off and not doing my work.

So just like that, I was fired... and for no reason.
